The Village hall is very popular and we recommend early booking and viewing to ensure that you reserve the date of your choosing. Please contact the bookings clerk on 07768 550846 to discuss your event, reservation dates and to view the hall.

We highly recommend a visit to fully appreciate the charm and quality that our unique hall offers at an affordable price. There are a variety of hire packs available including additional round and rectangular tables and additional chairs.

Wedding and party hire (e.g. Saturday) where hire needs to include the Friday evening before for setting up, two hours are included in the hire charge. For clearing away and cleaning on Sunday morning there is no charge but the hall must be vacated by 11am. A professional cleaning company will clean on Sunday morning at an additional charge.

Hall Facilities

The Village Hall is a timber framed barn complete with vaulted ceiling featuring wooden beams and floor to ceiling windows which open outside onto a paved terrace, making it extremely light and airy.

As night falls there is new LED lighting to help create the appropriate ambience for your event. The main body of the hall measures 16 x 8 metres, with an additional raised stage at one end complete with curtains and stage lighting, should you require it.

To the side of the hall there is a fully fitted, equipped kitchen with two ovens and a larder refrigerator able to cope with the requirements of your caterers. There is a serving hatch opening up into the main body of the hall, useful for serving drinks. The kitchen comes fully stocked with hot water urn, cutlery and some basic crockery.

There are modern and separate toilets for Ladies, Gentlemen and the Disabled and changing rooms for those utilising the playing fields.

The facility is fully compliant for wheel chair access.

The hall is fully licensed for music until midnight. We also work closely with local hotels and B&B providers for those who wish to stay and enjoy the village.

Additional marquees and gazebos can be put up in the field with the appropriate permissions and costs.
